We start off Monday with a little trip to the local Lego store. It turned out to be an outlet store which meant that they had a lot of the stuff we didn't want and not enough of the stuff we did want (i.e. pick a brick...where you fill a little cup with whatever pieces you want). The store in Houston had a whole wall of pick a brick...but anyway, we had a great time in spite of Brett's disappointment of no pink pick a bricks...LOL
OK, so here's a pretty good picture of Bronco's outfit for our Lego Store trip...I'm loving the army helmet. They guy at the Lego Store said everyone should have one because you never know when you might get hit in the head! Bronco is the best...more on him later!

After we left the Lego store, we met Ryan at Subway for lunch and then headed home for some quiet time. That afternoon, the kids went outside to play.
At one point, Bronco came inside and went upstairs to get this box. He put it on his head facing the other way, where get couldn't see through it, and proceded to try to come down the stairs that way. Luckily, we were all sitting there watching and got him to stop before he got to the top! Kat told him he needed to turn the box around, but Bronco said he couldn't because he was a storm trooper and storm troopers can't see through their helmets! HA! So we finally convinced him that even though storm trooper helmets look solid, they can still see through the eye holes. I drew a storm trooper face on the front of the box with a sharpie and he was happy! I'm so not an artist but he thought it was great after some convincing!
And he played outside in it for probably 30 minutes! What a kid!
Matt decided to use me as entertainment while the kids ate dinner...
And after Ryan got home, we got ready to do a little Christmas caroling next door...Ryan played guitar and we all had some kind of instrument to play. It was cold but fun!
After the caroling, Matt read the kids a Christmas story while Kat and I made hot chocolate.
Then it was time for bed to rest up for skiing the next day!
