While Brett was at his sleepover, Matt, Jace and I camped in the backyard across the creek bed. Matt and Jace made Trail Boss Chili (which was awesome) and we invited our neighbors, Cody and Cindy to come over. They brought corn bread muffins (perfect with the chili) and then we made s'mores. Cody and Cindy are the best neighbors every (the kids think they are amazing). So fun...check it out.

Jace & Cody played with fire...Cody even made Jace a torch. And he also made him a spear out of that stick and they had target practice. Cody and Cindy also helped Jace catch fireflies.
And the next morning we made pancakes! Here they are getting the fire ready...
Aside from the wild animal noises ALL night long, we had a good time! Jace slept fine...me, next time, I'll stay inside in my own bed! :-)
